11. Is there multiplayer in Star Trek Elite Force II?
Yes, Star Trek Elite Force II features several multiplayer modes and
about 13 maps. See the next FAQ question for details. |
|
|
|
12. What kind of multiplayer modes does Star Trek Elite Force II
have?
The main modes are Holomatch, Team Holomatch, and Capture the Flag.
Within these modes there will be several modifiers:
- One Flag - There is one flag in the
center of the map rather than one at each base. The object is to
take that flag and run it into the other team's base to score
points.
- Action Hero - One player is chosen to be
Action Hero and as such gets a full complement of weaponry and
regenerative health. Players try to kill the Action hero and in
doing so become the new action hero.
- Elimination - When you die, you don't
respawn.
- Disintegration - All players are given
sniper rifles and one hit kills anyone.
- Bomb Defusal - Try to destroy the other
team's base by planting a bomb there. Bombs can be defused, so you
must ensure no one can reach the bomb and stop the detonation.
- Specialties - Each player chooses to be
a team specialist (Demolitionist, Medic, Tactician, Infiltrator,
Sniper, or Heavy Weapons) and gets specific weapons related to
that specialty.
- Auto-Handicap - Allows server to adjust
the downward damage of players who have outperformed everyone
else. Essentially levels the playing field...
- Weapon Skill - Points are awarded based
on the weapons used to eliminate players. Skill-based weapons,
especially the Bat'Leth, give more points per kill than heavy
weapons like the quantum burst.
- Control Points - Each map has 3 control
points and your team must secure each of them by touching and
defending the beacons there.
- Power Struggle - Each team has a
singularity and the object is to destroy the other team's
singularity. The singularity has a certain amount of health, and
can be repaired by the teams using tricorders.
