The Borg
are an extremely powerful race consisting of humanoids
that are enhanced by cybernetic implants. This grants
them superior strength and the unique ability to
function as a single mind. Every Borg drone is also
equipped with personal shielding technology, which
automatically adapts to energy-based weapons. |

Little
is known about the Exomorphs. They're a bio-genetically
engineered species that can withstand harsh conditions,
from the extreme vacuum of space to volcanic
environments. There are several different kinds of
Exomorphs, all of which feature large claws. This makes
them extremely lethal in close combat. Some Exomorphs
are also known to have the ability to spit some sort of
venom. So far it has not been possible to communicate
with them, and they appear to be extremely hostile.
Caution is recommended when engaging them.

The
Attrexians are boisterous and not very refined. They run
a very industrial society. The Attrexians are a
spacefaring species that have warp capability and modern
(though not particularly advanced) weaponry. Most of the
Attrexian technologies have been bought from other
races, rather than developed by the Attrexians
themselves. Attrexians don't come across as very
intelligent, and their appearance could be described as
slovenly, but they have become very prosperous through
their dealings with other races and their mining of
natural resources found throughout their worlds. Their
empire spans a region of space that falls on both sides
of the neutral zone between the Federation and the
Romulan Empire. Their settlements are very industrial,
built more for function than form, with a spartan,
patched-together feel that speaks more toward getting
the job done and less toward having any sense of
architecture or beauty. |

The
Idryll are a race that is spread out among worlds now
controlled by the Attrexians. As opposed to the
Attrexians, they are more cultured and educated and far
more attractive in appearance. There is almost a
mystical quality to the Idryll. They are refined and
artistic, and they have an established culture. The
Idryll race has fallen on hard times and is generally
dominated and controlled by the Attrexians. Living on
worlds that are slowly being taken over by the
Attrexians, the Idryll have almost resigned themselves
to become laborers in the Attrexian economic machine.
The Idryll have stories of once controlling a great and
powerful empire that fell into ruin. The Attrexians
believe this is no more than the fantasy of a race that
wants to believe itself capable of greater
accomplishments than it has demonstrated to date.

An
aggressive offspring of the Vulcan race, the Romulans
have been a long-time foe of the Federation. Though the
Dominion War resulted in the Romulans forming an
alliance with the Federation and the Klingons, several
commanders throughout the Romulan Empire still feel that
Starfleet is not to be trusted. |

The
Andorians are a proud and somewhat reclusive race.
Distinguished by blue skin and antennae, Andorians are
infamous for their fierce tempers and irritability.
Andorian relationships are pre-arranged and involve four
members whose communion is lifelong. Presently the
Andorians are a dying race due to low reproduction
rates. |

The
Klingon Empire is one of the largest empires in the
galaxy, extending from the Alpha Quadrant to parts of
the Beta Quadrant. Although allies with the
Federation now, the Klingon empire was at war with the
Federation for decades.
The
most important thing to a Klingon is his/her honor.
They are trained to be warriors from childhood, and as a
result are very formidable enemies. Klingons
prefer hand to hand battle with bladed weapons like the
Bat'Leth, but also carry energy weapons called
Disruptors. |

The
Vulcans left Romulus millennia ago to purge their
emotions and devote their lives to logic. In 2063,
the Vulcans made first contact with Earth and became one
of the founding worlds of the United Federation of
Planets. The Vulcans are a relatively peaceful
race but are not afraid to use violence when there is no
other logical course of action. Currently there is
a reunification movement to reunite the Romulans and
Vulcans. |

The
Ferengi live their lives according to the Rules of
Acquisition. These rules all relate to running
business and making profit, which makes the Ferengi a
very materialistic culture. The Ferengi only hold
interest in intergalactic affairs when they think they
can benefit economically from it. Ferengi are
distinguished by very large ears, pointed teeth, and a
bald head. |

Not much is
known about the Naussicaans. They are an
ill-tempered species and they never back down from a
fight. They seem to be a relatively divided
species and many of them make a living by raiding
trading ships. |
