Yes, Interplay did cancel the game in 2001 after cutbacks. However,
TDK Mediactive approached
Activision, which at the time owned the
license to Star Trek games, to finish the game. They came to an
arrangement which led to the game being reinstated. |

January 13, 2004 in the US/Canada. March 26, 2004
in Germany, and April 2nd, 2004 in the UK. |

You will pilot individual fighters including Federation fighters,
the Klingon Bird of Prey, as well as Romulan and Tholian fighters.
Many of these ships are newly designed, while others have been
featured in
Starfleet Command. |

You will notl see alien characters in the
game. All you will encounter are their ships...
You can expect to go up against Romulans, Klingons, Orions,
Tholians, and the newly created Shakurians.
Originally the game was to include the Gorn and Vulcans, but they
never made it into the final game.
