TREKCORE > GAMING > ARMADA > Matrox Graphics The Matrox G400 DualHead is 3rd party hardware that allows players of Star Trek Armada to play the the game on one monitor and view the game's cinematic mode on another monitor simultaneously. The following information on this page was taken from Matrox's website. Trekkers intensify gameplay, gain strategic advantage and enjoy eye-popping visuals with two display screens.

"Since the unveiling of Star Trek: Armada's unique Cinematic Mode at this year's E3, the response has been overwhelming. The G400 takes full advantage of this feature, allowing Cinematic Mode to be viewed fullscreen on a secondary output. Normally this view is placed in the Cinematic Window, about the size of a standard RTS mini-map, on the user interface. Outputting this view to another monitor takes full advantage of the eye-popping cinematic visuals making the game almost as fun to watch as it is to play."
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Star Trek: Armada is the first real-time 3-D strategy game set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation® universe. In various campaigns, the player assumes command of the fleets of far distant races using up to 30 starships in dynamic ship-to-ship combat, as well as overseeing the construction, repair and staffing of the ships. GAME FEATURES:
Visit the Millennium G400 DualHead section for more information on this unique DualHead feature.
