TREKCORE > GAMING > STARFLEET ACADEMY > Trajer's Walkthrough This is Trajer's walkthrough: Target Practice- Just listen to Rotherot's instructions. Remember to switch to disabling phasers when fighting the Mine Controller. If you're having a hard time penetrating its shields, use a photon torpedo, but be very careful not to destroy the Controller Routine Deployment- Listen to Rotherot until he orders you to destroy the radioactive buoy. When Sturek says "It is now safe to destroy the object", release the buoy. Do not destroy the bouy. Go to Red Alert, target the Khyzag and move toward her. Hail her, and when she comes within weapons range, fire at her. Fire until she hails you. Return her hail and say "Freighter Khyzag, this is the USS Banting...". Now go to Yellow Alert and tractor the buoy. Set course for the Huron system and take the buoy there. Close to 2,000 to the first buoy in the field and release the buoy. Now return to starbase. Uninvited Guests- When you fire at the bird of prey, target its cloaking device. When dealing with such fast ships, set your impulse speed to full. While you are saving the governor, send a few torpedoes to K'Tinga's shields and beam him aboard. Hide and Seek- When Sturek says "A sensor anomaly briefly appeared..." and Corin sets course, go to the next system. When you arrive, go to Red Alert and scan the debris. Yaw 90 degrees to starboard and accelerate to one half impulse power. Listen to Sturek's directions. When the Romulan decloaks, target it immediately and destroy it. Then help the Rutherford and the Alexandria. Nothing Ventured- In each system scan the planet before you. When you receive the Motherlode's ditress call, warp to her location and hail the Pinter's Folly, then Motherlode. Then fire phaser ONCE at Pinter's Folly. Now increase the sensor power to 400% and scan the Motherlode. Hail her, hail the Pinter's Folly, scan the planet and warp to the next system. When you receive the Leipzig's call, warp to her location and hail her. Then follow the ship that attacked the Leipzig. Hail them. Set course for the system you haven't patrolled yet. The Venturi will attack you if you stay. Into the Abyss- Before entering the Abyss Nebula, set the sensor power to maximum and set targeting on manual. Go to red alert and deactivate your shields (they are useless). Enter the nebula. Fire at the Venturi until he hails you. Accept his surrender. Destroy all transponders in the Alpha CN625. Fire at the Venturi in the Beta CN625 and destroy him. Destroy all transponders. In the Gamma CN625 say to Konovin "Can't we resolve this peacefully..." Now set impulse to reverse and retreat from the base. Do so to lure Venture Medium and Venturi Light from the base. After you destroy the Venturi ships, move toward the base. Move to base's starboard or port side so they can't fire at you. Now fire until Corin says "Captain, the base looks pretty beat up" and hail them. Make sure you don't continue firing at the base. Accept their surrender and destroy the transponders. NOTE: You must operate within those systems in the following order - Alpha CN625, Beta CN625, Gamma CN625. Just let your navigator set the course, or you'll fail the mission. The Barrier- Don't try to save La Grange. Just move your ship far away from the starbase and let the starbase destroy two Venturis. You destroy the third one. Spare your photon torpedoes, you'll need them later! After crossing the barrier and talking to Alshoff, reverse impulse engines so the two Venturi can't attack you at the same time. Before you begin the battle you can type $PUNISH cheat to increase photon torpedo power. After the battle scan the asteroid and the other ships until Sturek notice something unusual. Target that ship (Alshoff's) and destroy it as fast as you can. When he's attacking you, he must lower his shields. Use that moment and torpedo him. Divide and Conquer- Afer the Klingon Bird-of-Prey corrupts your experiment, destroy her. Warp to the Dante system. You can hail your "bad side", if you want. Target her photon torpedoes, but be careful: Fire carefully so that you don't destroy it! Try to stay close to her so you can tractor her. When you succeed in capturing the USS Tempest, go back to USS Hawking immediately. Cry from the Dark- After talking to the Sweet Song, follow Sturek's instructions to lure the Mimics out of the system. Afer warping to the other system, return to starbase. Or, you can choose the other answer. If you do so, you will have to talk to Zashar. When your conversation is over, set course for starbase and leave the system immediately. But if you rather want to help Zashar against the Sweet Song, you can stay. Escalation- Prepare for battle with the Klingons. Avoid staying in front of the Bertaa. You must be at full impulse in order to maintain evasive maneuvers. Disable its impulse engines and then destroy it from the place it can't fire at you. Revenge - This mission was created after event in 2285, when Khan Noonian Singh stole the U.S.S. Reliant and wanted to avenge himself upon admiral Kirk (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan). Scan the Prison Colony and go to the next system. Scan the Science Station and then target USS Oberon's photon torpedoes. Go to Red Alert and move toward it, but don't open fire until they start firing first. After talking to McNeil, wait until Brady finds command codes and then beam the warden aboard. While Brady searches for codes, DO NOT open fire at Oberon and DO NOT tractor her. If you do so, McNeil will kill the warden or initiate the self-destruct. After beaming the warden aboard, fire at Oberon's warp engines to avoid the tricky fight in the nebula. You can ram the Oberon as well, but be careful. If you do so, the Oberon will be badly damaged and her warp drive disabled. Make sure your ship isn't severely damaged before doing so. After talking to McNeil once again, go to safe distance from the Oberon because they will initiate the self-destruct sequence. "To the last, I will grapple with thee..." Carry a Big Stick- While you're entering the Klingon space you must be at Green Alert. After Kamath scans you, hail him. When Kumas order Kamath to destroy you, go to Red Alert and fire at Kamath. You can hail the Romulans and they will help you against Kamath, if you ask them to. Diplomatic Immunity- Help freighter against the others and talk to the Sunrider. After talking to Jarhok and Duk'Ret, you will need your fighting skills. It's good to attack the ships where the hostages are held and rescue them first. If they escape, attack the Klingon base, beam the hostages aboard and warp to your base. If the enemies follow you, the starbase will help you against them. Or you can just hail the Starbase and tell them that your mission is accomplished. Kobayashi Maru- All is up to you. "I don't believe in the no-win situations." Balance of Terror- The mission was created after Balance of Terror TOS episode. Scan all outposts and destroy the D7. Then you will need some patience with the Romulan. Set you weapons on maximum and try to destroy it quickly as possible or they will cloak and remain cloaked for the long time. The Best Laid Plans- Hail the arrogant Romulan when she decloaks before you. When Harmony Wight hails you, say: "Listen, just calm down...", "Do you really want to make enemy...", "My communications officer...". Now scan Tharos Greenly and follow him until he hails you. Answer him: "I'm not here to arrest you...", "I'm here...". When Greenly warp out, Mrs. Wight and her company will arrive. Destroy them all. When you arrive to the Regis system, destroy the Romulan and then help admiral Tenek against the D7-A. The Sun God- Warp to Thaxius. Hail Thaxius. Warp to the sun. Scan the asteroid. When Sturek notices the sun creature, return to Thaxius. Hail Thomas Horn and after talking to the Romulan, destroy it. Wait until Brady modulates phasers and then warp to the sun creature. Fire at it with phasers. It will soon fall asleep and the Bird-of-Prey will appear. Senors will be off-line so you will have to listen to Brady. When he say "Starboard shields have been hit", turn to the right, etc. When you locate the Bird-of-Prey, fire torpedoes at it and tractor it, then wait until Brady remodulates the phasers. End Game- After talking to Shantur Tenek, hail Duk'ret. DO NOT insult him. Warp to Thaxius. Hail the Raven. Tell captain Horn "I'm sorry, but I can't let you...". Destroy the Romulan rebel and tractor the Raven. Go to reverse impulse power and tractor the Raven. Move her away from the sun. When Sturek says that creature isn't interested in the sun any more, return to starbase. Smuggler's Den- Move close to Marcai. The Romulan will appear and attack Marcai. Destroy the Romulan and hail Marcai again. Warp to other system. After Marcai hails you, go to Yellow Alert and tractor Marcai's ship. Return to starbase. If you do this way, you will prevent the battle with two Venturis. But if you rather want to fight, stay and fight. Common Ground- After talking to ambassador Varo you will receive a distress call from the Mother's Pride. Defend him from the Venturi. When you enter Well of discord, scan Venturi and hail Venturi captain and enjoy the verses. Go to Red Alert and move toward Venturi. The other ships will attack you, but you ignore them and destroy Venturi. After you destroy it, the other ships will stop firing.Go to Green Alert, warp out of system and hail Asteria. The Ultimate Klingon- Scan the debris and tractor it's black box. After receiving the distress calls, deploy the Rutherford or the Alexandria to the systems which need help. Now go to the system to which Corin plots a course. Try to tractor the Bird-of-Prey and after talking to the freighter and warping, target the D7-A and destroy it as quickly as possible. When you destroy the D7-A, the Birds-of-Prey will explode and you will complete the mission. A World Of Their Own- Scan the debris and make sure you have Vor's permission to enter the Klingon space. Send a copy to Starfleet. When you arrive to Kurat system, target Kurat 1 and do this: When Meclanti fires phaser once at the planet, you fire phaser once. When it fires torpedo in your direction, you do the same. When it moves toward the planet, do the same. When they fly away from the planet, do the same. Say "Yes, we are Meclanti too." Repeat their phrases and say "Planet Kurat 1 is not random". Say that firing at Kurat 1 wounds the planet. Give Meclanti your energy. When the Klingons hail you, send them a record. Return Vor's hail and destroy the D7. That's it.
