Here are some points the article makes:

Star Trek Legacy will take place in the Enterprise, TOS, and Next Generation+ eras.

The game is Single Player Action/Strategy with up to 8 players via XBOX live or internet.  The Borg, Klingons, and Romulans will be playable in multiplayer mode.

The publisher is Bethesda Game Studios and the developer is Mad Doc Software.

The anticipated shipping date is September.

You can command up to 4 units (a unit is a capital ship + 2 smaller ships).

You earn Command Points which you can spend on things like new ships and upgrades.

Like Armada I & II different nebulas affect your ships differently.

Ships shown in the article: Constitution Class, Nebula Class, NX-01, Excelsior Class, Ambassador Class, Borg Cube, Borg Diamond, Borg Tactical Cube, Borg Interceptor, Klingon Bird of Prey, Defiant Class

Damage will be very cinematic looking.

Enemies in the game include Romulans, Klingons, and Borg.

Quote: "There's action, but it's not like 'I'm a figher pilot' action.  It's 'I command a starfleet' action."

You will be able to save replays of battles and play them at all angles.

Story follows a Vulcan named Sovak who discovers the Iconian gates in an era before the TNG episode that first featured the Iconian gates.  Sovak wants to use the gates to bring order to the universe and makes a pact with the Borg in order to do this.  In the end, it will take all Captains from all eras to defeat the threat.

They have not signed all the captains to do voicework yet, but they will try.

Defiant will have a cloaking device.
