Star Trek The Kobayashi Alternative, along with other Simon & Schuster games, featured an unusual book-style of packaging. Rather than a box, the game sported a hard cover and spine with a ring-bound manual inside. To secure the floppy disk, pamphlet, and other loose materials, they were contained within a plastic sleeve or "page" that was also ring-bound. The pamphlet contained startup instructions and a command summary.

2. We request that you scan at 300 DPI, and please do not edit the scanned image in any way (we prefer to do that). We're looking for photographs to be sharp looking and a minimum of 640x480 (the bigger the better).
