* This 1987 version runs in DOS and is essentially non-functional on new computers because it runs too fast.  To slow down the game to make it playable, you must do the following (requires basic knowledge of DOS commands):

• Download and install Moslo.
• Unzip Moslo and the Kobyashi Alternative game files into the same folder (easiest way IMO).
• Open the DOS command prompt and use DOS commands to enter the directory containing the game files.
• Type: moslo /n st.exe where n is the speed you want your computer to run at in percent.  Press Enter and the game should run.  I.e. Typing moslo /50 st.exe will have your computer run the game at 50% of the computer's abilities.
• You will have to experiment with the speed to determine which option runs optimally on your computer.

** How to run the Kobayashi Alternative in CCS64:

• Make sure the emulator and ROM files are unzipped
• Double click the file titled "CCS.exe" (emulator)
• When the program loads, press F9
• Select "1541 Device 8..." and press Enter
• Locate and highlight the file titled "st-tka-1.d64" (this is the ROM)
• Press F3 for a normal boot of the rom or F3 for a quick boot (skips the title screens)
• After you start the game you will be asked to enter disk 2
• To do that, press F9
• Select the file titled "st-tka-2.d64" and press F4
• Enjoy the game!
