Perpetual Entertainment [now defunct] began developing Star Trek Online in 2005.  On January 14, 2008, the company ceased developing games due to financial troubles.  The game assets were transferred to Cryptic Studios for completion. Information on these pages is for the Cryptic game, unless noted otherwise.
