1. When I try to launch the game, it reports an 'Insufficient Memory' error, but my Mac has over 32MB of RAM.
First, shut down all of your other applications before playing the game. If your
other programs have already been shut down, you may need to optimize your Mac's
memory settings for this game. Some of Klingon Honor Guard's levels are very
large, and so the game requires at least 120 MB of RAM (physical or virtual) to
run properly. Go into the Memory Control Panel and make sure that your Virtual
Memory is on, and that the combination of your physical and virtual memory adds
up to at least 120MB. In this case, more is better.

2. When I try to run the game I see an error that states 'Couldn't find a QuickDraw 3D hardware driver to use'.
If you do not have a 3D-accelerator card installed in your system, then don't
worry about this error. Simply click on "OK" and a screen will appear telling
you that the game will attempt to run in Software mode. Click on "OK" again and
after a few seconds, the game will begin.
If you have a 3D-accelerator card installed but the game still reports this
error, see the section below labeled "I can't get the game to run in hardware
mode". |

3. I can't get the game to run in hardware mode.
Hardware mode will only work on accelerator cards that are 100% QuickDraw
3D/RAVE compatible.
If your card meets these specifications, then make
sure that you have installed the latest drivers for your card, and that those
drivers are QuickDraw 3D and Rave 1.5 compatible.
Finally, you must have
QuickDraw 3D installed to your machine before playing the game in hardware
mode.
If the game simply won't work with your 3D accelerator, you can
still use the software-rendering mode to play. For details on how to accomplish
this, please refer to the readme file in your Klingon Honor Guard folder. |

4. I can't connect to any multiplayer games on my network.
This game requires Open Transport (TCP/IP) for multiplayer games. Check your
network settings to make sure that Open Transport is enabled and working
properly. |

5. The game simply won't run, locks up, or crashes to the desktop without an error message.
These types of problems are tough to diagnose because they could be the result
of several pre-existing problems on your computer. For more information on how
to troubleshoot these problems and get the game running on your computer, please
refer to our Macintosh General
Troubleshooting. |
