Star Trek: Hidden Evil Walkthrough MISSION TRAINING: Holodeck This mission is designed to teach you how to defend yourself. Sovok has two attacks at his disposal: the Vulcan nerve pinch, and, of course, a standard issue phaser (yes, "Trekkers," we know it's a Type II Personal Phaser. We're just trying not to sound too geeky.) Sovok will fire up his holodeck training program and speak with his trainer, Master Satan.(uh, is there a hidden message here?) After they're done speaking, you'll have to incapacitate a Romulan with the nerve pinch. Hit 4 to prepare for the pinch, walk up to the Romulan, and hit the space bar. If you're close enough, he'll fall unconscious. Next, you'll have to shoot down drones with your phaser. Draw your phaser by pressing 1, then take them down. When you've blown them up, head for the holodeck door and walk through. MISSION 1: Son'a Colony -- Day First, you'll be ordered to assist Captain Picard at the excavation site. He acts as if you know right where that is, but if this is your first time playing you obviously do not. It seems like he would have given you directions. Leave the Research Lab by walking toward the screen. On the next screen, walk to the right edge. Turn right on the next screen, down the walkway. When you see an area paved with white, hexagonal tiles, head for it. Walk up to the lift at the edge of the hole and hit the space bar to take it to the bottom. Walk through the doorway to the left. Talk to Picard. He'll give you the Talisman: Institute and tell you to bring it to Data. Return to the Research Lab, select the Talisman through the inventory interface and hand it to Data. MISSION 2: Son'a Colony – Day Exit the Research Lab and kill the Son'a right outside. Head to the right and take out the three Son'a warriors in the marketplace area. Exit at the top of the screen. Go past the excavation site where Data waits behind the force field. Go around the building to the left and find a console, kill the Son'a standing at it, and use it to turn off the force field. Return to the excavation site and talk to Data. Kill the Son'a warriors while Data distracts them. Take the lift down into the hole and go through the door on the left. Walk up to the circle in the railing and use the Talisman: Institute. You'll have to solve a portal puzzle here. Using the cursor controls, scroll through the shapes until you find the one that looks like a backward slanted, and hit the down arrow to insert it into the slot. Repeat this procedure, a diagonal, and the longer horizontal line, and a right angle. You'll be teleported to Undercity. MISSION 3: Undercity Follow the walkway until you see a hexagonal pattern on the floor; two creatures are trapped in force fields. Pick up the Talisman: Conductors. A force field will appear around you. Use your tricorder to find the metaphasic emitter and destroy it with your phaser. You and the creatures will be freed; kill them with your phaser. Go through the doorway and head through the door on the right. Kill the flying creature that comes up from the ground and another crawly beast. Pick up the object in front of the console; this is a power cell. Leave the room and head for the path on the left. Follow the hallway to the teleporter. Use the Talisman: Conductors and solve the portal puzzle by inserting the pieces in this order: the one that looks like a backslash, a horizontal, a right angle and a square Z-shape. Walk up to the console and use it; the power will be turned off. Run onto the yellow conductors (a hanging creature will attack you, but it won't hurt you if you're fast enough). Work you way around to the snail-like thing. Use the power cell to lure this beast back toward the hanging creature, which will eat it. Return to the console and activate the conductors. This mission will end. MISSION 4: Undercity Access the console in front of you and listen to Xa'tal. Walk through the doorway to the right of the hanging monster; you'll find another teleporter. Use the Talisman: Institute on it. Pull your phaser and kill the creature that attacks. Walk through the doorway ahead and go back to where you found the power cell. Activate the console to learn about the Institute. Go back to the main walkway and head for the doorway at the far end (you'll have to pass over a small gap in the walkway; it looks like you might not be able to go this way, but you can). Go to the end of the walkway. You'll emerge on a ledge over a high platform. Head right and kill the Son'a warrior, along with any creatures he unleashes. He'll drop the Talisman: Grotto. Pick it up. Head out of this area, back to the main walkway. Turn left and go into the teleporter room. Use the Talisman: Grotto on the teleporter, and then solve another portal puzzle. Insert the pieces in this order: the one that looks like a long horizontal, the backward slanted L, a forward slash, and a short horizontal. You'll be teleported to the Grotto. Avoid the steam vents and activate the console on the right. Listen to the message and then head through the doorway into the lab. Kill the Romulans after they kill Xa'tal. Grab the Romulan Gene Sampler gun, and then use the view screen to find Captain Picard. MISSION 5: Undercity Head left from the view screen and find the Grotto entrance. Arm the Gene Sampler and shoot one of the little creatures hanging out near the steam vents. Return to the view screen in the lab. Walk into the glowing area to the right, down the hallway and into the Grotto transporter. Use the Talisman: Conductors to teleport to the Conductor area, and shoot the dead Siphon bug with the Gene sampler. Go back to the teleporter and use the Talisman: Institute. Walk down the walkway and through the stone door, continue down the walkway, go left, and head to the console near the odd-shaped pillars. Access the console and use "Create Organism." A bug-like creature will appear. Pull out the power cell and get the bug to follow you to the main hallway. Head to Sovok's right, and walk close to the steam vents. The bug will walk to the yellow pad and the steam vents will shut off. Picard will emerge from beyond the steam vents and give you the Talisman: Colony. Go to a teleporter and use it; solve the puzzle as you have the other Talisman puzzles. MISSION 6: Son'a Colony – Night Head left and kill the Son'a warrior. Pick up his passcard and return to the mining laser. Watch the laser and, timing it just right, run past the it and to the console on the right. Shut the laser down. Kill the warrior that attacks you and get his disruptor. Continue along and kill the Son'a there in the holosuit. Follow the path to the left to the intersection, and veer toward the lower left corner of the screen. When you get to the power station area, shoot down one of the drones with your phaser. Grab it. Return to the intersection and head right. Kill the Son'a in the holosuit, go around the building and kill the next one. Walk past the building entrance, kill the rest of the Son'a, and head into the Communication building. Kill the attackers. Use your tricorder to find the elevator switch. Activate the elevator and take it to the upper floor. Kill the holosuit Son'a. Take note of the location of the Drone password console. Take the elevator back down and exit the building. Kill the Son'a and nab his Elevator key, get back in the elevator, and take it to the basement. Exit the elevator and go to the computer console. Access the console and look at the pass code number. Enter the elevator, take it back up to the third floor, and head to the drone console. Enter the pass code 328509. Leave the Communication center. Head back around the building and go to the Power Station.. Your captured drone will attack the holo emitter and the laser defense system. Once they're blown up, the Son'a holosuits won't work anymore. Go back to the marketplace and kill the Son'a who attack. Don't kill U'rano with your phaser, though; gun him down with the disruptor. Contact Captain Picard and he'll ask you to meet him at the Research Facility. Follow the path that leads to the left, away from the marketplace. When you arrive at the Facility, kill the Son'a outside and head in to meet the bald Captain. MISSION 7: Romulan Station Keep a close eye on your holosuit's power supply. Turn it on when you walk through the cargo bay and avoid the Romulan guard. Knock him out with the Vulcan nerve pinch when you get a chance. Avoiding the security sweepers (which can detect you even with your holosuit on), perform the nerve pinch on the Romulan near the console. Use the console to turn off the force field, and, mindful of the sweepers, run underneath the walkway. Continue along the walkway until you come to another console. Get behind the Romulan near the elevator and pinch him. When the Romulan on the second floor is facing away from you, take the elevator up. Get behind him and pinch him. Now head for the door leading to the corridors. When you open the door, watch for the Romulan to start walking away from you. Nerve pinch him and grab his access card. Continue down the corridor and turn right. Go through the door on the right and access the panel in the back of this room to lower a force field. Exit the room and turn right. Stay on the right side of the hallway; there will be a Romulan walking toward you on the left side. When he passes you, get behind him and nerve pinch him. Continue down the hall to the next room and turn right. Continue into the next room and go through the door on the right. Duck back out when the guard heads toward you, wait for an opportunity to get behind him, and nerve pinch him. Use the red key to open the bulkhead door blocking the elevator. Enter it. MISSION 8: Romulan Station Exit the turbolift and walk down the corridor to the door. Open it, and kill the spider. Follow the fleeing Romulan until you find him standing behind a force field. Walk up to the force field and watch as a spider kills the Romulan. Use your tricorder to find the force field emitter, and destroy it with your phaser. Go through the door the spider came from and follow the corridor. Enter the room on the left. Have your phaser ready when the Romulan dies, and kill the spider that drops from the ceiling. Go through the room and head up the hall to the right through the half open door. Follow the Romulan who runs away from you. Go through the door and watch him die. Kill the gigantic spider and continue down the hall to the white platform. Walk up to the door and press the switch. A force field bridge will appear. Cross it, killing the two spiders that come toward you. Go through the door on the left, walk down the hallway and go through the next door. Continue through the door on the left, kill the spiders, and talk to Nadol. When the conversation ends, exit the room and follow the corridor on the right. Go to the second floor, and take the path at the bottom of the next screen. Follow the hall as it turns to the left. Activate the force field bridge and head across to the doorway. Continue along, killing any floating creatures that get in your way, and go through the first door on the left. Go down the corridor, and take the path at the bottom of the screen. Use the blue key Nadol give you to open the door. Kill the Romulan near the console and access it. Beam in stuff from the different areas, using the following codes. Choose the C129 option, kill the Romulan, and take his key. Take the path at the top of the screen, follow it along, and take a left. Go down the hallway until you reach an intersection. Take the path at the top of the screen. Use the red key to open the door and enter the Science Lab. Walk along the path next to the seed, and take the lift down. Shoot the seed with your Gene Sampler and get out of there; kill only the creatures that threaten you. Take the lift back up and head down the path. Kill the spider and leave the room. Head back to Nadol's room and kill the alien that's attacking him. Give him the seed sample he'll give you a genetic weapon; go back to the lab. Kill any spiders that attack and head for the console. Use it to shut down the inducer arm next to the seed. Take the elevator down, walk up to the inducer arm and place the genetic weapon on it. Go back up the lift, turn the inducer arm back on, and use it to place the weapon inside the seed. MISSION 9: Enterprise When the doctor is finished checking you out, exit Sick Bay and walk down the hall. You'll see Nadol change into an alien! Kill it, listen to Picard, and return to Sick Bay. Enter the Jeffries Tube next to the bed. Pick up the hypospray at the other end and continue down the corridor to the turbolift. Watch out for the two spider-things. Enter the turbolift and head. Picard and Data will fill you in, and Data will give you the access code to the computer at the Port Balcony. Exit the lift, kill the spider, and head down the hall to the right. Turn down the corridor to the left and veer right at the split. Veer right at the next split, and right again at the next one. You'll reach the Force Field Containment Control Room. Access it and move the field so that it's activated for the Port Balcony. Exit the Containment Control Room and walk back down the hallway. Enter the Jeffries Tube at the far end and go through it to Main Engineering. The force field will keep you safe from the flying creatures. Access the console to the left of the Jeffries Tube and punch in the code Data gave you (it's 3540236). Leave the area through the Jeffries Tube and go back to the Containment Control Room. Kill the spiders and the alien you encounter in the hall on the way there. Move the containment field to the Starboard Alcove, exit the Control Room and walk down the hallway. Take the second left. Follow this hallway and veer left when you get the chance. Head to the right at the next fork, and make a right at the end of the hall. Continue along to Jeffries Tube #2, killing the baddies that attack you along the way. Go through the Jeffries Tube to the Starboard Alcove. Walk to the lift and take it down to the lower section of Main Engineering. Access the console to deactivate the Dilithium Core. Take the elevator back up and go back through the Jeffries Tube, and head once again for the Containment Control Center. Move the field to the Center Control Table. Get in the elevator lift next to the Containment Control console and take it down to Main Engineering. Access the console on the central table. This will activate the Final Ejection sequence. The Enterprise will eject its warp core. Boom, the game is over.
