1. The CD Key included is coming up invalid. I purchased the bundle pack which includes both Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and the Expansion Pack.
2. When I first enter the multi-player shell screen, the game prompts me for a CD Key. There is no CD-Key included with the game. Can I play multi-player?
3. I receive an error that the file FFC10.DLL is missing when trying to launch the game.
4. Error: can not find Elite Force after install.
5. During single player holomatch I get a Fatal aas link heap error.
6. I receive the error "Load TGA: only Type 2 (RGB) 3 (gray), and 10(RGB) TGA images supported" on launching a map.
7. How do I access the Expansion Pack missions?

1. The CD Key included is coming up invalid. I purchased the bundle pack which includes both Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and the Expansion Pack.
The CD Key provided is incorrect. The key provided below will allow you to install and play.

CD-MMC9-X4CB-HNNT-RTFT

2. When I first enter the multi-player shell screen, the game prompts me for a CD Key. There is no CD-Key included with the game. Can I play multi-player?
No CD Key needs to be entered. The game auto-installs a CD Key during installation. You can access and play multiplayer games without having to manually enter a CD Key.

3. I receive an error that the file FFC10.DLL is missing when trying to launch the game.
Uninstall the game, delete the game folder and then reinstall both Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and the Expansion Pack.

4. Error: can not find Elite Force after install.
This can happen if the game patch is installed to the game prior to installing the Expansion Pack. In order to fix this problem you will need to uninstall the game, delete the game folder from the hard drive and then reinstall Star Trek Voyager and Expansion Pack without installing the patch.

5. During single player holomatch I get a Fatal aas link heap error.
  • Make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements of the game.

  • If you have 128 MB of RAM or more, try the following solution.
    1) Click on the Start button > Programs > Raven Software > Star Trek Voyager Elite Force.
    2) Right-click on the Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Holomatch shortcut and select Properties.
    3) When the Properties option comes up look for the Target line in the window. It should read something like:

    "C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\stvoyHM.exe"

The exact path depends on where you have installed the game, but this is not important. You'll want to add the following command to the end of this line to read:

    "C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\stvoyHM.exe" +set com_hunkmegs 96

If you have more than 128 megs of RAM then you can set this number higher, but never set it higher than the amount of RAM you have, and never set it to exactly how much RAM you have. Try to make the number equal the amount of RAM you have minus 32. So if you have 256 MB of RAM, set it to 224. If you have any problems, try setting it lower.

    4) Click the Apply button and close the window.
    5) Launch the game using our new shortcut and see if the problem still occurs.

  • If you have any 3rd party maps/mods/skins installed then uninstall the game, delete the game folder and then reinstall Star Trek Voyager and Expansion Pack.

Q

6. I receive the error "Load TGA: only Type 2 (RGB) 3 (gray), and 10(RGB) TGA images supported" on launching a map.
This is typically a corrupt asset in the map file. If the map is one of those included in the Expansion Pack:
1) Uninstall the Expansion Pack.
2) Uninstall Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.
3) Delete the game folder, C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager - Elite Force by default.
4) Reinstall the game, then the Expansion Pack.

If this is a third party map which was downloaded from the Internet, or from a server which you connected to, delete that map and try downloading it again. If this doesn't work, contact the map designer. Activision does not support the use of third party maps, as they were never tested with the game.

Q

7. How do I access the Expansion Pack missions?
Simply start the game and click on Virtual Voyager button from the main menu. Some missions are accessed through the "Holodeck" on the Virtual Voyager and not accessible directly through the game main menu.

Please note that once a mission has been triggered, it is not necessary to complete the mission to have that considered a success.
