GAME QUESTIONS ANSWERS

1. What does the Expansion Pack feature?
The game features touring 10 decks in Virtual Voyager Tour mode, 4 Holodeck missions, a new "Borg Slayer" game, and 21 new multiplayer maps.
2. Is the Captain Proton Holodeck mission in black and white, as is the TV series?
Yes.
3. Is Captain Proton's Proton Gun available in all the missions?
The Proton Gun is only available in Virtual Voyager Mode. Hitting "1" or "-" will bring up this weapon if it is not currently selected. This weapon is not available in Multiplayer games.
4. As in Elite Force, is the Tricorder available?
The Federation Tricorder is only available in the single player, Virtual Voyager Mode. Pressing "T" or "=" will bring the Tricorder into view. The primary fire of the Tricorder will outline an object directly in front of you and display certain statistics about it. The alt-fire of the Tricorder acts as a sort of motion-detection radar.

Note: Turning off "Identify Target" will cause the Tricorder to cease functioning.
5. Are any new features available for multiplayer?
The "use object" key is a new key in the Multiplayer game. You will have to go to the Control Configuration screen and bind this new command to a key if you want to customize it.
6. How many different multiplayer game modes are available?
There are five playable game modes: Action Hero Game Mode, Elimination Game Mode, Disintegration Game Mode, Specialties Game Mode, and Assimilation Game Mode.
7. Do any Star Trek cast members appear in the game?
There is a long list of Trek alumni supplying their voice talents in the game, though some of them do not reprise characters they have played in the past. Here's a list:

8. Can I save my Virtual Voyager Tours?
There is only one saved-game file available for Virtual Voyager Mode. When you attempt to exit the program, the game will prompt you to save at that point. The next time you launch the game, selecting the "Resume" menu option will load your saved game. You can also use the F3 key to save your game and F4 to load your saved game while playing in Virtual Voyager mode.
9. If I can't save my Virtual Voyager Tours, does that effect saving games in the original Elite Force game?
Installing the Expansion Pack updates how Star Trek: Voyager® - Elite Force ™ handles it's saved games. You will no longer notice the Autosave slot in your Save or Load screen, as this slot is now reserved for saving progress within Virtual Voyager. Whenever you leave Virtual Voyager, you will be prompted to save your game. By selecting Yes, you will save at the exact point in which you select to save the game. It is not recommended to use the “Quicksave” function while in Virtual Voyager.
