In short, Destiny's Wind was going to be a Star Trek-based Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, designed to be completely "canon" and conducive to role-playing. It would have had thousands of players, and be only limited in scope by the imaginations of those playing it. It was going to use a brand new, revolutionary game engine, capable of rendering worlds of virtually limitless size and Doom 3-level beauty. Even the largest starships could have been utilized and fully recreated. Read below to see why the game was cancelled.
